Rhapsody of Nature is a collective founded by Harris Heng, born from a simple dream: to share the wonders of the ocean through stories. What began as Harris and his friends gathering local tales of the sea has grown into a movement that blends science with imagination. Their vision is to craft storybooks rooted in nature and local wisdom—stories that inspire children to wonder, explore, and nurture a gentle, caring connection with the natural world.

Stories shape how we see the world. They help us understand complex ideas, find meaning, and connect with one another. Simple as they may have seen, stories carry powerful messages—and they welcome everyone, regardless of age and background. Through storytelling, we can open hearts, spark curiosity, and gently guide the way we relate to nature.

Our mission is to shape transformative learning experiences rooted in nature and culture.

We gather local stories inspired by nature and people – from wildlife encounters and historical legends to everyday moments happening around us. Each story reflects the richness of Malaysia’s culture, biodiversity and community.

We blend stories, local wisdom, scientific knowledge, and art to create engaging narratives for young learners. By collaborating with experts and artists, we ensure our stories are inclusive and meaningful to all.

We bring our stories to life through interactive storytelling and community events. Instead of simply telling the story, we invite you to step inside it and experience the journey as though you are part of it.

Environmental education is where knowledge becomes connection.
